We often receive so many questions about the products we giveaway at our events, so it only seems natural to share an abridged recap each month. The products/gear/services we showcase are designed for YOU and your lifestyle as a mom or mom-to-be—so we are thrilled that you like them so much!
We had two great events in the past week. Here are a few of our “BCB Approved: Product Picks” from each of them.
Expectant Mom Dinner Series: Basic Care for Mom and Baby
Exederm
This ultra sensitive skin care line is perfect for babies with sensitive skin, eczema, or dermatitis. It’s great for any baby as it is made with the mildest ingredients. We first tried it after we were on CBS’ “The Doctors,” and Dr. Lisa sent us home with some to try. Baby J has some of the most sensitive skin I have ever seen, making this product a perfect bath time staple.
Pure T Maternity Wear
We wish we knew about this line when we were pregnant! Pure T creates maternity wear that is flattering and easy to wear—plus, it doesn’t look like it is made for preggos, making it useful after the baby arrives. The bonus? All of their materials are made with earth friendly materials! (BCB VIPs—login to the VIP page as you get 30% off on all Pure T purchases!)
4 Moms Cleanwater Collection ($89.99)
This infant tub is for birth to six months, but comes with everything you need to bathe your baby when you get home from the hospital all the way up to age 7+. Included in the collection is a color-coded digital thermometer, bath sponge for newborn support (a must for every baby!), rinse cup and spout cover.
Magnificent Baby
This product is genius! You never have to match snaps on a squirmy baby in the middle of the night again! Their magnetic closure system has your baby dressed in seconds. Again, another product we wish we had known about while enduring sleepless nights as a new parent.
New Moms Brunch Series: Catching Zzz’s, creating a healthy sleep schedule for your baby
Gro Bag ($39-$49)
We love these incredible baby sleep bags! They are SO popular in the UK and are now building a following stateside. Made with premium fabrics, Gro Bags are safe for babies and perfect for once they cannot be swaddled anymore. With three sizes and two levels of warmth, you can find an option for any baby in any temperature. (The warmer Grobag is PERFECT for Chicago winters.) You can find these online at Diapers.com and Amazon.com.
JJ Cole Collections Bundle Me Hat ($9.99)
With winter upon us, this hat is great for keeping baby’s head warm. Just as we mentioned at brunch—I feel like we are always losing hats, and try to keep one in every bag come wintertime. This one is perfect to throw in your bag to use when you are out and about.
Names in Knit Blanket (starting at $50)
This is one of our favorite baby gifts on the market (now our secret is out!) These personalized blankets come in every color imaginable and start at $50. They are great for your baby’s nursery, or throwing in the stroller for a walk on a cold day. The best part? They are machine washable! Use the code BCBEVE for $10 off your purchase of $50 or more (Good for a one-time use only. BCB VIPs, login to the VIP page for your exclusive discount.)
BabyBjorn High Chair ($300)
We will admit, the price tag and the size of this chair had us skeptical at first, but as we demonstrated today at brunch, this is one snazzy chair. It looks small, but is adjustable and can fit a big baby/toddler (we demonstrated with a 24-lb 1-year-old) today. From personal use I will tell you that it is compact, easy-to-use, and folds nicely. We really like that the tray is removable and fits in the dishwasher—and oh yeah, it looks pretty sophisticated in our modern, urban kitchen.
We look forward to sharing our Product Picks with you from our events! Stay tuned for more
