I’ve tried VERY hard throughout this pregnancy to purchase few new maternity clothes. I honestly just hate to spend money on something I will wear so minimally and have been trying to get by with the basics combined with my regular cardigans, blazers and accessories. However recently, I needed two dresses for a TV appearance and a big event BCB was hosting. At first I was stumped. I couldn’t find a thing. After looking everywhere, I stumbled upon my new MATERNITY-MUST-HAVE: The Isabella Oliver Ruched Maternity T-Shirt Dress.
I know what a lot of you are thinking: this thing looks TIGHT, and small on the hanger. And it is…but slip it on with some maternity Spanx and a pair of wedges and you are ready to go for any occasion. Pair it with a blazer or cardigan, wear it with a long necklace or a scarf, this dress is as versatile as they come and can be worn all throughout your pregnancy.
It took me until 28 weeks into my second pregnancy, to come to the conclusion that flaunting your bump is MUCH more flattering than hiding it under a tented muumuu option. Of course I am bigger than normal, but now is the time to embrace your bump and Isabella Oliver allows this to happen. Not only does the dress come in a t-shirt version, but also in a tank style. The color options are endless. I purchased it in this amazing floral pattern as well (during the summer sale) and got so many compliments on it at a huge BCB event a couple of weeks ago.
Bottom line: Preggos, add this dress as a MUST-HAVE for any maternity wardrobe. Coming from one who has been trying to use and re-use her maternity fashion, these dresses from Isabella Oliver will certainly go the distance. I only wish I had discovered them sooner!
