Bump Club and Beyond Preggos Speak Survery, Spring 2011
In April 2011, we conducted a survey of nearly 200 expectant moms around the Chicagoland area to hear what matters most to them while pregnant. Click on the link below to read a copy of the full survey report. Highlights include:
- Preggos are staying in shape! Ninety percent of Chicagoland expectant moms are engaged in a pre-natal fitness program.
- Baby matters most. The top concern (56 percent of respondents) of preggos during labor and delivery is the health of their baby.
- Feed me! Overall, expectant moms need more information about how to take care of their newborns – 41 percent surveyed have breastfeeding concerns.
- Big Box stores still rule. Even with the proliferation of baby boutiques, over 50 percent of expectant moms preferred to register at big box stores.
- Beyond the bump. Eighty-seven percent of respondents say they will continue with Bump Club and Beyond programming after their babies are born.

What moms and moms-to-be are saying around Chicago:
Check out our reviews on Yelp!
“I really enjoyed the event and am already loo
king forward to the next one. It was great getting to meet other expectant moms and hearing their questions and experiences. The lactation consultants were very good as well. I wasn’t even aware that type of service was available. Thank you! …and the free monitors are awesome! I still can’t believe we are getting them.”

“I just wanted to tell you how fantastic last night was. I have not stopped talking about what an enjoyable evening it was. Not only was it so nice to spend time talking to a bunch of pregnant women that want to talk about being pregnant (not everyone likes to talk about it 24/7 like me
), but the whole night was just so great. I will 100% be signing up for the next one and I have recommended Bump Club to ALL my preggo friends.”
