POLICIES

Bump Club and Beyond Cancellation Policy

Bump Club Chicago understands that sometimes circumstances keep you from attending an event which you have signed up for.  Please make sure to notify Bump Club and Beyond on or prior to the “Must Cancel By” date for each event if this is the case.

Refund Policy

If you cancel your reservation on or prior to the “Must Cancel By” date, you will receive a refund in full.   If your cancellation falls between the “Must Cancel By” date and 24 hours prior to the start of an event, Bump Club and Beyond will give you a 50% credit which you can use on a future Bump Club and Beyond event. If you fail to cancel within any of these time frames and simply do not show up for an event you have registered for, your money will be forfeited and you will not receive a refund.

Gift Bag and Giveaway Policy
In order to receive a gift bag or be entered to win a giveaway or raffle prize, you must be in attendance at the said event.  All gift bags will be distributed at the end of each event and you must pick up your bag in person.  If you have to leave an event prior to this time, please make arrangements with Bump Club and Beyond for a friend to take your gift bag.  You must notify Bump Club and Beyond yourself that you will be having someone else pick up your gift bag for you.  Bump Club and Beyond will not be able to save any gift bags unless prior arrangements have been made.  Additionally, you must be present to win any giveaways, promotional items or raffle prizes.  If you are not present, there will be a re-draw and you forfeit your winnings.

FREE VIP Events

All cancellation policies also apply to free event tickets included in BCB VIP memberships.  These events should be treated just as a paid event would.  If you cannot attend, you must cancel/notify Bump Club and Beyond by the “Cancellation Date” in order to be able to use your free event at a later date. If you do not notify Bump Club and Beyond per the above policy you will forfeit your “free” event included in your BCB VIP membership.

Photos
We take photos at all of our events and use them in our marketing materials including our social media pages. By attending an event, you give us permission to take, use, and post photos of you and anyone attending with you.

Workout Events

Attendees must have a doctors’ permission to participate in Bump Club and Beyond’s workout events.  All classes are meant for pre-natal/post-partum, but participants are taking the class at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions.  You know what is best for your body.

For pre-natal classes, participants must have written consent from their doctor to participate.  For post-partum workouts, participants must be cleared by their doctor after giving birth to resume fitness activities.

Bump Club and Beyond assumes no responsibility or liability for attendees who go against what is recommended by their physician.

Facebook and Social Media Contests

There is no purchase necessary to win any of our Facebook contests. If you do attend an event or make a purchase through Bump Club and Beyond, this will not increase your chances of winning.  All sweepstakes are subject to Illinois state and local laws and regulations.  Our Facebook contests are open to all legal US residents, living in Illinois and who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The BCB Countdown to Holiday Hoopla Sweepstakes starts at 12:01 a.m. (CT) on December 4, 2011 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on December 13, 2011 (“Sweepstakes Period”). This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all entrants agree to abide and be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsor.

1) Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents residing in Illinois (for sweepstakes on the Bump Club Chicago page) and Texas (for sweepstakes on the Bump Club Austin page) who are 18 years and older as of the first day of the Sweepstakes Period. A potential winner may be requested to provide proof that all eligibility requirements are met as well as proof of ownership of the email address associated with the winning entry. Void where prohibited and outside Illinois and Texas. This Sweepstakes shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Illinois law for Bump Club Chicago and Texas law for Bump Club Austin, excluding choice of law provisions.

2) How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, go to http://www.facebook.com/BumpClubandBeyond to enter the Sweepstakes. You must provide all information requested on the registration form, and your contact information must be accurate. Please note that, by entering, you are agreeing to receive Bump Club and Beyond’s e-newsletters, BCB Bits and Around Town this Weekend. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the listed email account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Incomplete entries will be disqualified, and Sponsor is not responsible for online registrations that are lost, late, deleted, garbled, corrupted, misdelivered, or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties or errors. All entries must be received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period. The computer clock of Sponsor’s webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per Facebook user per day. All received entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor will treat entry information in accordance with its privacy policy.

3) Winner and Notification: Winner will be notified on Facebook and through email within 24 hours of the ending period noted on the entry form.  The Woo Box application will select potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will make all final decisions in any and all issues related to this Sweepstakes, and its decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will attempt to contact potential winner by email or telephone. Winner will also be posted on Facebook.  A winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from among all remaining entries if: (1) a winner does not claim his or her prize within seven (7) days of contact; (2) a winner does not fulfill the eligibility requirements; (3) a winner does not adhere to the Official Rules; and/or (4) if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, refused, or declined. Prize and Delivery:  The winner will provide their shipping address and the prize will be delivered to them within 4-6 weeks.

Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state and local taxes in connection with the prize. Prize substitutions are not allowed, and prize is not transferable. Only Sponsor may elect, at its discretion, to substitute a prize of greater or equal value due to lack of availability for any given reason. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor.  Properly claimed prize will be awarded, but in no event will Sponsor award more prizes than are provided for in these Official Rules.

4)By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, waive and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents from any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney’s fees) resulting from accessing the Sweepstakes website; submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes; the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded; preparing for, participating in or traveling to and/or from any prize-related activity, or; any printing, typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize. Neither the failure of Sponsor to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Official Rules or the failure, delay or omission by Sponsor in exercising any right with respect to any term of these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of Sponsor’s right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance.

By accepting the prize, winner agrees, where legal, to allow Sponsor and its agents and licensees to use winner’s name, voice, photograph, likeness and any information provided on the entry form, in any medium of communication, including advertising, promotional or other purposes, without additional compensation.

5) Internet/Fraud/Tampering: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to award prize from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Sweepstakes website. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE (INCLUDING THE ENTRY SITE) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. COLLECTING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
You can visit any of our web pages without providing any information about yourself. We may track the Internet domain address from which people visit us and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous, unless you voluntarily tell us who you are.

There may be times (such as when you purchase or order a product, subscribe to a service, or to participate in contests, sweepstakes or promotions, etc.) at which we ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, birth date, gender, due date, etc. We also maintain a record of your online product purchases.  The decision to provide any of this information is completely up to you. UPDATING YOUR PREFERENCES

You will only receive emails from us if you have opted-in to receive them.  If you do not want to receive emails or communications from us in the future, please email info@bumpclubchicago.com, or opt-out on our e-newsletter which comes on Monday mornings. You can also email this address if you would like for us to change your contact information in our database.

PROTECTING CHILDREN
We urge parents and guardians to participate in their children’s online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise children’s access to the web.  We take special care to protect the safety and privacy of children. Our web site is a general audience site. We do not permit anyone under the age of 13 to register with us. We also do not send email correspondence to anyone who tells us that they are under the age of 13 without their parent’s consent.

SECURITY

All of our transactions regarding your personal information are made through third party providers including Eventbrite.com and Paypal.com. Please remember, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web site, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will do our best to protect its security on our systems.
