Must-Have Gear to Keep Baby Winter Warm

January is behind us, but that doesn’t mean the cold weather is going anywhere anytime soon. Many parts of the country will have freezing temperatures, and maybe even a snow storm until as last as April. (Hopefully not!) Here is some of Bump Club and Beyond’s favorite gear to keep baby warm (and safe!) during what is left of winter.
JJ Cole Car Seat Cover, $29.95: the car seat cover has an elastic band allowing you to put it OVER the car seat so it does not interfere with the buckles and straps. If you have a winter baby this is the number one item you want to keep your baby warm and safe in their car seat.
Zutano Booties, starting at $21: These come in a rainbow assortment of colors and snap on around baby’s ankle—making it almost impossible to lose them!
Columbia Foxy Baby II Bunting, $24.90 (sale!): Baby should not be wearing anything puffy when they are in their car seat—it creates extra bulk and is not safe. This microflece outerlayer will keep baby warm and safe under the straps in their car seat.
Bumbleride Indie, starting at $529: This is a great all-year stroller, but if you are taking baby out for a walk after a fresh snowfall the tires on the Indie will help get you through any terrain!
Skip Hop Stroll & On-Call Hand Muff, $35: This cozy fleece lined stroller hand-muff is better than gloves! It has a pocket for your phone making it easy to operate without even taking it out.
Pediped Grip and Grow Boots, prices vary: Did your baby start to walk during the winter but there is still snow on the ground outside? Pediped makes a great boot (and shoes!) for new walkers and beyond.
JJ Cole Polar BundleMe, $119.95: With the extendable bottom, this is one of the only buntings that grows with your baby! Useable from birth through age 4, this is the BEST WAY to keep your baby warm while in the STROLLER.
Kowalli Baby Carrier Cover, $69: The perfect way to keep your little one warm while baby wearing. This is also great for spring and fall, making it practical almost year round!
Modern E-ternity Lauren Wool Coat, $225: This maternity coat truly goes the distance! With its removeable panel, it expands with your growing belly…but then (click to the next slide!)
…you can use it after you have baby too! This three-in-one coat is a great option if you are pregnant during the winter months!
