Who says rain is a bad thing? We rounded up the best kid-friendly places to spend a rainy day and these fun and educational locations are the perfect solution for even the rainiest of days. 
The Strong, National Museum of Play, (Rochester, New York):
This interactive museum truly has it all. From the International Center for the History of Electronic Games to the National Toy Hall of Fame, The Strong is one museum you and your kids won’t want to miss.
The Museum of Science and Industry, (Chicago, Illinois):
The Museum of Science and Industry includes a wide variety of exhibits, making it the perfect place for parents and their children alike. Interact with robots and explore Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle; the whole family will be smiling in no time.
Exploratorium, (San Francisco, California):
Explore science, art and human perception with your children at The Exploratorium. Located in San Francisco, this hands-on museum is a must.
International Spy Museum, (Washington, D.C.):
This museum is truly one of a kind. Explore, educate your children and don’t forget to check out the collection of international espionage artifacts.
The Newseum, (Washington, D.C.):
Teach your children all about the first amendment at this interactive museum, stationed in our country’s beloved capital. Oh, and make sure you check out the NBC News Interactive Newsroom, your children will love it.
