No childhood is complete without apple picking, so make sure your children can experience it the right way. We rounded up the best apple picking spots in America and these beautiful orchards are everything you’d expect and more. 
Mercier Orchards, (Blue Ridge, Georgia):
Between the fun-filled events, apple picking, bakery and winery, Mercier Orchards is a must for children and adults alike. Located in Georgia, this orchard has the southern charm you’ve been looking for.
Bear Swamp Orchard and Cidery, (Ashfield, Massachusetts):
Known for their apple picking and fresh cider, Bear Swamp Orchard and Cidery is the place to be each and every fall. The beloved orchard also features unique workshops and hard cider for the adults.
Applecrest Farm Orchards, (Hampton Falls, New Hampshire):
In addition to the amazing apple picking, this orchard has festivals galore! From the Harvest Kick-Off to the Fall Foliage Spectacular, there’s always something going on at Applecrest Farm Orchards.
Dwight Miller Orchards, (Dummerston, Vermont):
Apples, peaches and blueberries, oh my! All of these fruits are available for picking. This Vermont gem also offers homemade cider and maple syrup.
Stribling Orchard, (Markham, Virginia):
Stribling Orchard is just about as historic as it gets. This orchard has been owned by the same family for nearly 200 years and features farm animals and fresh cider, as well as apple picking.
Johnson Orchards, (Yakima, Washington):
Johnson Orchards has fruit galore! Go apple picking and indulge in some delicious cherries, peaches and pears. Not sold yet? The orchard also features a heavenly bakery.
Kiyokawa Family Orchards, (Parkdale, Oregon):
Established by Mamoru Kiyokawa, this Oregon orchard is known for its pristine quality and breathtaking scenery. In addition to the delicious fruit, Kiyokawa Family Orchards also has exciting events, such as Fiesta Days.
Barton Orchards, (Poughquag, New York):
This is much more than your average orchard. With apple picking, a corn maze, a fun park and a haunted house, Barton Orchards  truly has something for everyone.
Los Rios Rancho, (Oak Glen, California):
Los Rios Rancho, located in Oak Glen, is southern California’s largest apple farm. In addition to apple picking, this gorgeous orchard also offers farm tours and fun community events.
Apple Holler Family Farm, (Sturtevant, Wisconsin):
In the spirit of fall, Apple Holler Family Farm has apple, peach, pear and pumpkin picking. With over 30,000 trees, you won’t want to miss out on this midwest hotspot.
