There’s a lot of great ways to celebrate Halloween but binge-watching classic movies is one of our favorites. Below are some of the most beloved, kid-friendly films to help you and your family get in the Halloween spirit. 

  1. Hocus Pocus:

The Sanderson sisters are back in this classic Halloween film. Watch as teenager, Max Dennison takes on the witches as he attempts to save Salem, Massachusetts.

  1. The Nightmare Before Christmas:

While this Tim Burton film has Christmas in the title, it’s a must for Halloween. Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington has had enough of Halloween, so when he finds a door to Christmas Town he decides to explore. This beloved film also features memorable songs, including “This Is Halloween.”

Casper isn’t your typical ghost, he’s a friendly, and lonely, ghost. Follow his journey as he makes a new friend and deals with his mischievous uncles.

While this movie is meant for older kids, we had to include it; The Addams Family is the ultimate Halloween classic. This spooky, dysfunctional family film has something for everyone.

This Disney Channel original never gets old. Watch as Marnie discovers she’s a witch and fights to save her grandmother, and all of Halloweentown, from an evil villain. Make sure to check out the sequels as well.

The Peanuts gang is back to celebrate Halloween and Linus hopes to see The Great Pumpkin. This Halloween favorite is perfect for children of all ages.
