Mealtime Monday: National Barbecue Month Favorites

May is National Barbecue Month and in honor of this deliciously themed month, we rounded up some of our favorite barbecue recipes. Whether you’re a pork lover or a chicken lover, we’ve got something for you, so power up the grill and get cooking!

BARBECUE BEEF BRISKET
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 lb beef brisket, trimmed of fat
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups barbeque sauce

BARBECUE CHICKEN KEBABS
INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 2-3 slices raw bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce

PULLED PORK SLIDERS WITH GARLIC AOILI
INGREDIENTS
Pork:

  • 1, 3-5 pound pork shoulder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Your favorite barbecue sauce
  • Slider buns

Aioli:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (about 1 garlic clove)
  • 2 pinches of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
