Breast Cancer Awareness Month: BCB Gives Back

Share:

Dear Bump Club and Beyond Community Across the Country:

Bump Club and Beyond kicked off October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Shred415 City v. ‘Burbs workout in Chicago.  One hundred percent of registration and supporting donations benefitted three amazing organizations devoted to breast cancer awareness, education and support. WE HAD SO MANY EMAILS AND NOTES FROM PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO SUPPORT BUT COULDN’T MAKE THE CLASSES—WE’VE DECIDED TO EXTEND THE FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF OCTOBER!

Each Shred415 studio over the weekend raised money for a different organization. For the rest of October we are taking our fundraising online to drive more awareness for these three amazing organizations. AS PROMISED, for whichever charity the BCB COMMUNITY raises the most money for, BCB will make an additional $500 donation to that charity.  (Shredders, don’t worry, the studio who raised the most will still get a free class in their account.) ADDITIONALLY, for every donation over $75, Bump Club and Beyond will GIFT YOU a ONE-YEAR BCB VIP MEMBERSHIP.  BCB VIP is our parent perk program offering exclusive discounts and offers for parents across the country.  This includes photographers, workouts, mom + me classes, enrichment classes, baby gear, clothing, childcare, health + wellness and so much more.  BCB VIP comes with gifts and gift cards totaling $250+ when you join.*

MAKE YOUR DONATIONS BELOW. WE’LL BE KEEPING YOU UPDATED ON WHO IS IN THE LEAD THROUGHOUT THE MONTH. AT THE END OF THE MONTH WE’LL ANNOUNCE THE WINNER!

DEERFIELD, IL fundraised for BadAss Beth, 501(c)(3) pending: Our mission is to provide funding and support to young woman that have been diagnosed with breast cancer, tested positive for the BRCA gene, or have a family history that leaves them more susceptible to breast cancer. We focus on providing money to fund early mammograms, BRCA testing, egg retrieval and storage after a diagnosis or before treatment, reconstructive breast surgery, and other ancillary needs not covered by insurance to help woman in their BADASS journey.

HINSDALE, IL  fundraised for Mommy & Me Warrior Supply Packshonoring and remembering Miss Lauren from Bubbles Academy. It was her goal to support fellow new and expectant moms going through chemo and this organization is now up and running.

LINCOLN PARK fundraised for BrightPink, a national non-profit organization focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals.

On a personal note, and I said this at the Deerfield class yesterday, we all know someone impacted by breast cancer.  In the last three years the BCB Community has felt the effects of breast and ovarian cancers more than ever.  It is our mission to continue to bring awareness and educate our community not just in October, but throughout the entire year.  This is only the beginning. I hope that you will join us by supporting these tremendous organizations who are impacting the lives of so many women.

Thank you in advance for your support,

Lindsay Pinchuk
