While I may be a mom, and one who has made a career and built a business out of this role in my life, I have never professed to being an “expert” at anything that is clearly out of my realm of expertise.   Yes, I share my favorite products and gear on TV regularly.  But after nine years in the baby space, attending trade shows every year, working with the brands to educate myself on the products—I am an expert in this realm and I am equipped to share my product knowledge with you.   But when it comes to other important topics of parenting, I turn to the BCB Experts we have carefully and selectively chosen to speak to all of you in their areas of expertise.
For nearly a decade after college,  I worked in publishing, advertising , marketing and business.  My two degrees are in communications and marketing. These are the credentials I have used to build the community that is now Bump Club and Beyond.  BCB connects you with the BEST products, the BEST information, the BEST Resources,  and the BEST expert advice WHILE connecting you with each other. We do this both online and through premier in-person events across the country.
There are an infinite number of “right ways” when it comes to parenting. We strive to provide you with the tools to find those which work for you and your family.  Here at BCB,  we search the country to find the best experts with the proper credentials and degrees, to share their knowledge with you.   From there, you can determine what best works for you.  I wouldn’t settle for anything less for myself and I don’t expect you to either.
We can all learn a lot from our own stories, support, and missteps as moms.  But when it comes to the facts we use to make important decisions,  we all need to take a minute and look at where this information is coming from.  Ask yourself—what kind of training does this person have?  Do they have the degree necessary to be offering me this advice?  What is their background? While I love a good Facebook group crowd source for certain questions (photographers, vacations, or restaurant hot spots), other more serious topics are simply off limits online.  Having the letters MOM following someone’s name does not always qualify them to answer most of your pressing questions.
Starting this year you’ll be seeing more of our experts across all of our media and on our webinars.  We want you to get to know and become familiar with them.  Feel free to let us know what you want to see and who you want to hear from.
