ACTIVITIES FOR LITTLES
Find 10 things in your house that match the color of what you are wearing (for kids 3-6)
Go on a color scavenger hunt with your kids. Write all the colors on a piece of paper in their own color, and ask your kids to find an item of each color.
The activating ingredient in these kid-safe Elmer’s slime recipes is contact lens solution, but you need contact solution that lists boric acid as one of its ingredients. It’s the boric acid that makes it possible to make slime without using Borax.
Pour 4 oz. of your glitter glue into a bowl. A bottle of Elmer’s Glitter Glue is 6 ounces, so you won’t use quite all of it. We didn’t measure; we just eyeballed it, leaving about a half-inch of glue remaining in the bottom of the bottle.
Next, add the baking soda to the glue, and give it a good stir.
And now, for the magic ingredient – the contact lens solution! Prepare to be amazed!
Add your contact lens solution to the glue and baking soda mixture. Immediately, your glue will start to congeal and turn to slime. Stir the slime ingredients around until most of the contact solution is mixed in, and then get your hands in there and start kneading it.
The slime may stick to your fingers at first, but you can just give your hands a squirt of contact lens solution, and it will slip right off.

MEALTIME WITH COLORS
We know that ingredients may be limited during this time. We’ve included some ideas for colorful treats, but there is no need to run out for ingredients. If you don’t have them and want to make them, you can always save the recipe for later.
A great idea is to have your kids come up with a list of meals and food that are made of their favorite color. See what you have in the house and try to have them make a lunch with food featuring ONLY their color.
Please share any pictures and other recipes of rainbow and colorful treats that you make today or throughout the rest of the week! Tag @bumpclubandbeyond and #BCBspiritweek so that we can share! Here’s one of our favorite recipes that we found, perfect for today!
