For the last decade, sleep has been a hot topic at BCB. Safe sleep, how to get my baby to sleep, best products for sleep, how I can get more sleep….are all timeless topics among parents. On Monday, June 8, 2020 BCB’s longtime Resident Expert, Janeen Hayward of Swellbeing, will lead our Expectant Parent Webinar: Newborn Sleep Strategies and Safety. She’ll cover all of the sleep basics for when you bring your baby home. She’ll also talk about some of her favorite sleep must-haves for new parents. We’ve rounded up some of BCB and Janeen’s favorites right here! Make sure to RSVP and join us for this live event. Can’t watch live? You can always catch the replay!
Luvsy Sheets: These gorgeous sheets make any crib and nursery a masterpiece. At the same time, they keep baby safe! The only item in a baby’s crib should be the sheet! (No blankets, pillows, bumpers, toys, etc.)
Yogasleep Dohm: BCB Sleep Expert, Janeen Hayward, always shares with BCB parents that white noise is a must and helps baby to sleep more soundly. White noise mimics the sounds baby hears in the womb. This is one of our favorite white noise makers as it provides continuous noise without turning off.
Love to Dream Swaddle Up, $29.99: One of our top ten MUSTS for baby’s registry, the Love to Dream Swaddle Up allows for baby to be swaddled with their hands in a natural goal-post position. Once they start rolling, the selves zip off, creating a wearable blanket for baby.
Angel Dear Swaddle, $14: Breathable and available in many stylish prints, we love this brand and have for a long time. Not only do they have amazing swaddles (if you’re game to wrap up baby burrito style on your own), but they also have amazing layette, blankets, accessories and more.
BabyDeedee Sleep Nest, price varies based on style: This wearable blanket is one of our favorites. Not only do they come in nearly every color of the rainbow, but they also come in a variety of weights for different climates and seasons. These wearable blankets are PERFECT to make sure your kids stay in their cribs and help cue that it’s time to go to bed!
Newton Crib Mattress, $299: This non-toxic crib mattress is one of our favorites. Made with food-grade polymers, it is completely breathable and washable. YES, you read that right. When baby has an accident, all you have to do is take off the cover and you can wash down the inside of the mattress. This attribute alone makes this mattress worth the investment.
Babyletto Mini Crib, $269.99: A smart, stylish alternative to a bassinet, this crib is GREENGUARD certified. It collapses for easy storage and has two adjustable mattress levels. With five colors to choose from it matches any nursery!
Vtech Digital Monitor with Remote Access, $129.99: A great way to keep an eye on baby, we love this monitor as it offers perks like two-way talk, a wide screen, remote access via your smartphone, temperature sensor and more.
Crane Cool Mist Humidifier,$39.99: Not only are they adorable, coming in every shape, color and character possible, but they do wonders for a dry environment. We love this humidifier because it does not have a filter (which means one less part to clean), AND the cool mist ensures that there is no hot liquid in the room (which could be a safety concern.)
