October 10th is World Mental Health Day.  Taking care of your mind and mental well-being is important all year round.  We talked about this at length this past week on two live engagements.  We shared the importance of taking care of yourself during our Facebook Live: BCB’s Top Pregnancy Tips AND we touched upon this on our webinar:  Preparing for Labor and the First Days Home with Baby.  Click to watch the replay.  As always, BCB wants to make sure that you have the resources at your fingertips to support you and your family should you need it.  Now, more than ever, the COVID-19 situation has led to more uncertainly than ever before.  Please know that BCB is here to support you no matter what.  We will be updating these resources regularly and encourage you to utilize them. 


BCB Founder and CEO, Lindsay Pinchuk, hosted a Facebook LIVE and Q&A session with Dr. Becky Kennedy all about mental health strategies during COVID-19. Dr. Becky Kennedy is a clinical psychologist and parenting consultant. She specializes in helping people cope with anxiety and stress and build resilience in difficult moments. Dr. Becky has an expertise in parenting and child development; she equips parents with tools to strengthen parent-child relationships, decrease problem behaviors, and build more peaceful homes.

This talk was with Dr. Casey Foreman.  She focused more on navigating the uncertainties of COVID-19 as an adult. A large part of our talk also focused on strategies for expectant and new parents.
