Nicki Worden is an independent, professional birth doula serving Chicago and the Chicago land suburbs.  As a doula, she is available to her clients to support their birth, their way — at home or at the hospital, medication-free or with an epidural, VBAC or Cesarean.  While no one can foresee what the birth process may bring, her focus is to support her clients and their family, help them feel empowered in their choices and create a memory they’ll cherish.  

A doula’s job is to provide emotional, physical and informational support to an expectant woman and her family before, during and immediately after the birth.  “Supporting Your Birth, Your Way” means she is available to help guide toward the birth that’s envisioned.  Every woman Nicki has worked with is unique; in her goals, her choices and her experience.  Nicki provides non-judgmental support and encouragement, respectfully guiding the family as they explore their options, and helps to stay as close to the birth plan as possible.
